The Douglas Family

I have a difficult time thinking of what to write in this post, only because my heart is truely aching for this family. Not only are they dear friends, but we have grown up together since we were little. Those of us that have walked the "cancer" road understand thoughts, feelings, fears, faith, and healing when it comes to our loved ones. Our family has been in specific prayer for little Austin for his healing. I hope I'm correct in his diagnosis, but he was diagnosed with a Stage III Wilms Tumor which they took out along with is Kidney not even two weeks ago. This week he begins his chemo and radiation. We went out tonight for family pics and fun at the park celebrating all the God is going to do in sweet little Austin's life. Please continue to stand with us for his complete wholeness and HEALING, and that the doctor's and nurses would know exactly what his little body needs! Take THAT cancer!
